20 nature parks protect the characteristic, diverse cultural and natural landscapes in Lower Austria. Interesting leisure and recreational activities have been created in these areas through the careful treatment of nature.
In 1962, the first nature park in Austria was founded in Sparbach, thus beginning a success story that has already lasted more than five decades.
